Hi folks. Some of you (hopefully hundreds and hundreds, though I suspect maybe only two or three) may be wondering, "What happened to that journal Karen and Matthew were writing on Babycenter.com?" Well, we got moved. We used to have a neat & tidy link to our own journal page, but we're now on a Babycenter Community board. Check out our new writings here:

Mabel doesn't exactly compete for Karen's attention, but she must always be by Karen's side when she's with Emmett. Very sweet.
Emmett has just begun the startle reflex in earnest this past week -- a loud noise or unexpected ruffle of the blankets causes him to get very surprised.

We're still compelled to take pictures every time we give Emmett a bath.
I've started to realize that bathing the boy is still enough of a novelty that I've taken a lot of pictures of it.
Emmett's not always very cooperative when we bath him.
